This Policy explains how WEJODA handles personal data when you visit wejoda.com or use our platform as an advertiser, publisher, or visitor.

1. Who we are

WEJODA (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a platform that connects advertisers and publishers of local media (Bus Stop TV, Travel TV, Luxury Travel TV, and related formats) across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

We process personal data in connection with providing the platform. Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) applies, we aim to handle data in line with its principles.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use WEJODA, we may collect:

  • Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), company / organisation, role (advertiser or publisher).
  • Campaign and planning data: markets, formats, budgets, dates, audience selections, creatives and metadata.
  • Publisher / inventory data: venue or route details, screen and player identifiers, pricing, availability, proofs.
  • Delivery and device data: play logs, player status, timestamps, and related technical diagnostics.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, approximate device/browser info, IP address, and similar logs for security and reliability.
  • Communications: emails or messages you send to support or sales.
  • Payment-related data (when billing is enabled): billing name, GSTIN, invoices — card data is handled by payment providers if used.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

3. Why we use data

  • Create and secure accounts; verify email; authenticate sessions.
  • Operate the marketplace: planning, booking workflows, creative delivery, and proof-of-play.
  • Show advertisers relevant inventory and publishers relevant campaign requests.
  • Provide support, product updates, and service notices.
  • Improve reliability, prevent fraud/abuse, and secure the platform.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • With your consent or as otherwise permitted, send product or marketing messages (you can opt out).

4. How marketplace sharing works

Because WEJODA connects two sides:

  • Advertisers may see publisher inventory details needed to plan and buy (e.g. location, format, availability).
  • Publishers may see campaign and creative details needed to accept and deliver booked plays.
  • We do not sell your personal contact details as a standalone data product.
  • Staff / admins may access accounts as needed to operate, support, or moderate the platform.

5. Processors and service providers

We use trusted providers to run the product, which may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel).
  • Database and authentication (e.g. Supabase).
  • Email delivery (e.g. Hostinger / SMTP for transactional mail).
  • Analytics or ads tags if enabled later (e.g. Google Analytics / Tag Manager).
  • Maps or location tools if used in planning features.

These providers process data on our instructions and for platform purposes only.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies / storage for login sessions and security. If we add analytics or advertising tags, those may set additional cookies; this Policy will be updated and controls described when that happens.

7. Retention

We keep account and campaign records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting duties, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Play logs and proofs may be retained for audit and delivery history. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal holds and shared campaign records that other parties still need.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (access controls, encrypted transport, restricted admin access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and notify us of suspected unauthorised access.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law (including DPDP), you may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
  • Request erasure or restrict certain processing, where applicable.
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant Data Protection Board / authority when available under law.

10. International processing

Infrastructure providers may process data in India or other countries. Where data is transferred, we take steps appropriate to the provider relationship and applicable law.

11. Links

Our site may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before sharing data with them.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material updates may also be communicated via the site or email for account holders.
